Brunei's Minister of Health, Isham Jaafar, recently visited YIDU TECH's Beijing headquarters and conducted on-site inspections at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Peking University Cancer Hospital, and Tsinghua University's Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital. The visit focused on deepening digital health cooperation between China and Brunei and upgrading Brunei's national health system through in-depth discussions and field research. YIDU TECH's founder and chairwoman, Gong Rujing, along with the management team, hosted the delegation.
The visit comes at a critical time as Brunei advances its "Wawasan 2035" national vision. As a co-builder of Brunei's national digital health platform BruHealth, YIDU TECH has established a strong collaborative foundation with the Ministry of Health. The BruHealth platform has become a representative example of digital health governance in Southeast Asia. This ministerial visit and field inspection mark the expansion of bilateral cooperation from platform construction to multiple areas such as smart hospitals and clinical AI, entering a new phase of comprehensive deepening.
During the exchange, YIDU TECH systematically demonstrated its core capabilities and mature solutions in medical data governance, AI clinical applications, and AI hospital implementation. Addressing Brunei's key needs in upgrading national health management, precise chronic disease prevention and control, and improving medical service efficiency, both sides held in-depth discussions on AI-driven iterations of the BruHealth platform and the implementation of smart hospital solutions, reaching important cooperative consensus.
During hospital visits, the Brunei delegation observed practical application scenarios of AI hospitals, with particular focus on YIDU TECH's AI middle platform and clinical intelligence systems like Doctor Copilot in frontline use. As a key technology partner for the inspected hospitals, YIDU TECH's AI solutions demonstrated impressive results in enhancing diagnostic efficiency, optimizing clinical workflows, and supporting scientific research innovation.
Previously, at the Zhongguancun Forum, Minister Isham Jaafar had expressed clear intentions to strengthen cooperation with YIDU TECH in AI governance, clinical AI applications, data interoperability, and research collaboration. Following this visit, he further emphasized that YIDU TECH's technological strength and implementation experience in digital health align well with Brunei's development needs. He expressed confidence in the cooperation prospects for AI-enabled national platform construction and smart hospital development, anticipating prompt project implementation to benefit Brunei's citizens through digital technology.
Gong Rujing stated that YIDU TECH aims to be not just a technology solution provider but a long-term partner and enabler for Brunei's digital health transformation. The company will fully support the continuous iteration of the BruHealth platform and promote the implementation of innovations like AI hospitals and clinical intelligence systems in Brunei, helping build a more efficient, intelligent, and inclusive national health system where digital technology truly benefits every citizen.
