Huang Zhenyu (born July 1971) is a seasoned management professional who rose through the ranks of ICBC's Zhejiang branch system. With extensive experience in both frontline financial operations and leadership roles, his career spans key positions at provincial, secondary, and primary branch levels, demonstrating a clear trajectory of regional expertise and cross-regional management capabilities. Early in his career, Huang Zhenyu established himself within ICBC's Zhejiang branch system, gradually advancing from entry-level positions to build a solid foundation in financial services and management. Before 2017, he had already risen to the position of General Manager of the Corporate Business Department at ICBC Zhejiang Branch, where his deep understanding and precise execution of corporate banking laid the groundwork for his later leadership roles.
In April 2017, Huang took on a significant career shift as President of ICBC Zhoushan Branch, marking the start of his leadership at a secondary branch level. During his tenure of approximately four years and eight months, he focused on developing the local financial market, steadily advancing business operations and gaining comprehensive branch management experience.
2022 marked a pivotal turning point in Huang's career. In January, he was appointed Vice President of ICBC Anhui Branch, joining the provincial branch management team and overseeing key business segments. This 11-month role expanded his cross-regional financial management perspective. On December 15 of the same year, following approval from the Ningbo regulatory authorities, Huang assumed the role of President of ICBC Ningbo Branch, returning to Zhejiang to lead a major primary branch. He continued to drive business growth in this position until his transfer in March 2025.
In 2025, Huang embarked on another significant cross-regional career move. In March, public disclosures indicated his appointment as President of ICBC Guizhou Branch, extending his leadership to a key financial hub in Southwest China. After regulatory review, his appointment was officially approved on December 5 of the same year, marking the start of his management role in Guizhou. Notably, he had already made public appearances as President of Guizhou Branch as early as October, ensuring a smooth transition.
