Mobileye Secures DMS Contract from Major US Automaker, Shares Surge Nearly 5% in Premarket Trading

Stock News03-23

Mobileye Global Inc. has announced a partnership with a leading US automaker to supply its driver monitoring system (DMS), driving its stock price up nearly 5% in premarket trading on Monday. The company stated that the unnamed major American automaker will integrate Mobileye's DMS into future vehicle models equipped with the EyeQ6L chip. Production for the project is scheduled to begin in 2027 and is expected to span millions of vehicles across multiple models and model years. Nimrod Nehustan, a Mobileye executive, commented: "Next-generation intelligent driving requires comprehensive environmental awareness, including road conditions, cabin status, and their interaction. At the same time, automakers aim to deploy advanced driving features across their entire lineup without incurring extra costs from additional hardware or complex integration. Mobileye's driver monitoring system addresses both needs by enabling environment-aware driver monitoring on a single ADAS chip and ECU platform. This is a unique technological advantage, and we look forward to supporting our client in achieving large-scale implementation."
