Zhang Xuefeng's former wife, Li Lijing, published a statement on July 24th via the social media account "Feng Yan Han Mo," addressing recent discussions about their daughter and grandmother, as well as updates on Feng Xue-related matters.
Hello everyone, I am Li Lijing, the mother of Zhang Nianhan. First, I want to thank everyone for your attention. There have been many voices on the internet over the past two days, and I can feel that everyone's intentions are rooted in protecting and caring for the child. Because of you, the phrase "being treated gently by the world" has become real, and I am truly grateful.
Let me start by discussing the founding purpose of Feng Yan Han Mo. This account was established on June 25th, the day after our daughter's birthday. For her 11th birthday, it was the first time her father wasn't by her side... Before bed, the child talked about her father's company and the basic logic of its products. Watching her look both curious and confused was both adorable and heartbreaking. Then she came up with ideas for notebooks, markers, and more, enthusiastically discussing each product concept. To me, it was all very surprising. So, we decided to turn these ideas into reality—consider it a practical research exercise. From zero to one, I want her to deeply understand the entire business cycle from product development to sales, including product refinement, sample creation, bulk warehousing, commission negotiations with sales channels, and final transactions. I hope the child can lead the pace through deep understanding. So, please join me in looking forward to this journey.
Let me talk about the current situation of the child and the grandmother. I believe this is what everyone concerned about Zhang Xuefeng is most eager to hear. Recently, the grandmother has been caught in many misunderstandings and criticisms, unable to eat or sleep well. I want to say that the grandmother has always loved the child deeply... The inheritance left by the child's father for our daughter has been fully deposited into a trust fund to ensure her lifelong security. The grandmother has also contributed to a trust fund for the child. Once Zhang Nianhan reaches adulthood, everything will belong to her. So, I hope everyone will not misunderstand the grandmother. In this world, the two people closest to Xuefeng are our child and his mother. I want to protect them both.
Now, regarding Feng Xue. As I mentioned earlier, I shared the founding purpose of Feng Yan Han Mo. We are still in the early stages of development and have not yet updated the Feng Xue community. This sudden surge of traffic is truly thanks to everyone's affection. It has also left the Feng Xue team members, who lack complete information, at a loss. I understand that everyone's feelings and starting points are rooted in caring for the child. I am truly, truly grateful. The core and spirit of Feng Xue Weilai will never change. From every anchor to every regular employee, they are constantly upholding the responsibility of being a Feng Xue person.
She added in the comments: Right now, Feng Xue feels like a child who has lost the protection of its family head, but everyone is taking responsibility and striving to take on the mantle, growing through a tearing process. In the face of sudden and unequal flows of information, unrelated to professional or business matters, everyone is feeling overwhelmed. Collecting, screening, verifying, and summarizing information to reach a unified positive response takes time for reaction. Your questions and suggestions have indeed helped us see areas where we can improve our handling of issues. I believe we will only get better!
Recently, several companies under Zhang Xuefeng's (Zhang Zibiao) name—including Suzhou Feng Xue Weilai Education Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Feng Yue Wan Juan Culture Books Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Feng Feng Huo Huo Chuang Jiu Zhou Travel Agency Co., Ltd.—have undergone business registration changes. Zhang Xuefeng has withdrawn as a shareholder, legal representative, and executive director, and has been replaced by his mother, Liu Qiaoli, and his daughter, Zhang Nianhan, as new shareholders.
A spokesperson for Feng Xue Weilai exclusively responded to First Financial, stating that since Zhang Nianhan is a minor, according to relevant legal provisions, minors are considered persons with limited civil capacity and are legally ineligible to serve as a company's legal representative. Following a shareholder resolution, it was decided that until Zhang Nianhan reaches adulthood, Liu Qiaoli will temporarily serve as the legal representative and establish a board of directors to oversee overall company operations and management. The spokesperson further noted that Zhang Nianhan's shareholder rights, acquired through inheritance, will be exercised by her legal guardian, mother Li Lijing, until she reaches adulthood. Additionally, as the sole first-degree statutory heir of Liu Qiaoli, Zhang Nianhan is the company's actual beneficiary. All parties will continue to fully protect the minor's legal rights. Once Zhang Nianhan reaches adulthood, the company's management authority will be adjusted according to her personal wishes.
Feng Xue Weilai stated that the company has smoothly completed all transition work and is operating normally and stably. In the future, the company will steadfastly adhere to Zhang Xuefeng's founding principle of "helping students grow" and will genuinely protect the legitimate rights and interests of every student and parent. We sincerely thank all sectors of society for their long-term attention, support, and care for the company.
Previously, Zhang Xuefeng's company shares were transferred to his 11-year-old daughter, Zhang Nianhan. Earlier, business registration information showed that Suzhou Yan Tu Education Technology Co., Ltd. underwent changes, with Zhang Xuefeng (Zhang Zibiao) withdrawing from his role as supervisor and his approximately 10.86% shareholding being taken over by his daughter, Zhang Nianhan. Meanwhile, co-founder Kang Li's position changed from executive director to director in charge of company affairs. Public information shows that Zhang Nianhan, born in June 2015, is currently a minor. Suzhou Yan Tu Education Technology Co., Ltd., established in January 2016, with a registered capital of about 9.209 million yuan, engages in businesses including educational consulting, enrollment support, information consulting, and self-funded study abroad agency services. It is now jointly held by Kang Li, Zhang Nianhan, and Suzhou Yan Tu Wu Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership). Equity penetration reveals Kang Li as the company's actual controller.
Zhang Xuefeng once said that wherever his daughter goes, he would deposit hundreds of millions of yuan there. During his lifetime, Zhang Xuefeng mentioned his daughter in a live stream with a gentle expression, saying, "When you grow up, I won't interfere with any of your decisions. As your father, what I can do is to be your strong support." In January 2025, when discussing his plans for his daughter, Zhang Xuefeng said that if her academic performance was poor, she could just get an undergraduate degree, and then he would arrange for her to work in a bank. "My two companies have long-term deposits of over 100 million yuan. Wherever my daughter works at a bank, I will deposit my money there." On March 24th, at 12:26 PM, Zhang Xuefeng felt unwell after running at the company and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, despite all rescue efforts, he passed away at 3:50 PM. The hospital diagnosed the cause as sudden cardiac arrest.
