Qinzhou Port Sets New Record for Single-Batch Construction Machinery Exports

Deep News10-16

On October 16, at Berth North No. 1 of the Dalanping operation area in the Qinzhou Port zone of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port, the general cargo vessel "Jupiter" slowly set sail loaded with 124 excavators, bound for Jakarta, Indonesia.

This marks the largest single-batch export of engineering machinery equipment from Qinzhou Port this year, and the cluster effect of Qinzhou Port as a regional complete vehicle export distribution hub for ASEAN continues to strengthen.

Qinzhou in Guangxi is an important node city of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. Leveraging Qinzhou's maritime corridor advantages in connecting with ASEAN, complete vehicle exports through Qinzhou Port have continued to increase this year.

The cargo in this shipment consisted entirely of diesel-driven excavators manufactured by Guangxi Liugong Group Co., Ltd. To ensure the safe shipment of oversized cargo, the Qinzhou Maritime Safety Administration proactively coordinated with cargo owners, terminal operators, and port inspection units, assessed the characteristics of the cargo in advance, guided the ship operator in optimizing the stowage plan, and focused on evaluating key risks such as securing and lashing as well as fire isolation.

At the same time, the maritime authorities deepened collaborative coordination among port inspection units, implemented the joint inspection model of "single declaration, single inspection, single release," compressed customs clearance time, and achieved immediate berthing and loading upon arrival, facilitating the efficient delivery of domestically produced engineering machinery to the ASEAN market.

The Qinzhou Maritime Safety Administration stated that the maritime authorities will continue to serve the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, deepen multi-party collaborative coordination at the port, keep the complete vehicle export logistics chain to ASEAN flowing smoothly, escort the batch export of products such as engineering machinery equipment and new energy vehicles, and continue to strengthen Qinzhou's position as a complete vehicle export distribution hub for ASEAN.
