China Aluminum International Engineering Corporation Limited (CHALIECO) has reduced its A-share capital following the repurchase and cancellation of 918,300 restricted A shares on 6 August 2026. The buyback, executed at an average price of RMB 2.41 per share, represents approximately 0.035% of the company’s previously issued A-shares.
The total consideration for the transaction amounted to about RMB 2.21 million. With the cancellation completed and confirmed by the Shanghai branch of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation on 7 August 2026, CHALIECO’s outstanding A-share count now stands at 2.59 billion (2,587.44 million), down from 2,588.36 million.
No treasury shares remain on the company’s books, and there are no pending cancellations or on-market sales of treasury shares. The board has confirmed that the transaction complies with all relevant regulatory and listing requirements, concluding the share adjustment linked to the 2023 Restricted Share Incentive Scheme.
