An event to promote investment in Lanzhou's specialty agricultural products and the agricultural industrial chain was held on October 19 at the Nanjing Agricultural By-product Logistics Center.
Themed "Jincheng Gansu Flavors, A Date with Jinling," the event aims to further advance the regular sale in Nanjing of Gansu specialty agricultural products such as Lanzhou lily, bitter water rose, highland summer vegetables, beef and mutton, allowing authentic Gansu flavors to take root in Jinling and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of Lanzhou's agricultural industry and the supply guarantee for the Yangtze River Delta market.
This event is an important stop in Lanzhou's "Gansu Flavors Beyond the Province" promotional campaign as it enters the Yangtze River Delta region, and also a practical measure by the agriculture and rural affairs departments of Nanjing and Lanzhou to deepen East-West collaboration and promote the co-building of the Gansu agricultural product market for mutual benefit.
The event showcased specialty agricultural products including Lanzhou lily, bitter water rose, highland summer vegetables, beef and mutton, as well as processed products such as Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles. Through industrial promotion, product tasting, exhibition and exchange, and targeted business negotiations, the event fully presented the advantages, characteristics, and market potential of Lanzhou's specialty agricultural products.
During the promotion session, Yuzhong County and Qilihe District gave special presentations on the development of the highland summer vegetable and Lanzhou lily industries respectively. Representatives from enterprises such as Gansu Kangyuan Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd. and the Yuzhong Youyi Agricultural Products Production and Marketing Cooperative held negotiations and exchanges with relevant parties regarding product standards, supply capacity, and cooperation needs.
Nanjing Zhongcai Market is an important agricultural product distribution hub in East China, and Nanjing Ningyun International Trading Co., Ltd. is a platform company directly under the Jiangning Economic Development Zone, possessing government platform credit and centralized procurement channel advantages. Lanzhou's specialty agricultural products enter Nanjing through the dual channels of "Zhongcai Market distribution plus enterprise centralized procurement direct sales," which allows them to directly connect with same-category distributors at Zhongcai to form continuous supply relationships, and also to enter channels and distribution systems such as enterprise canteens, group buying, and welfare procurement, radiating to the Yangtze River Delta and surrounding markets with broad sales prospects.
A relevant official from the Nanjing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau stated that Nanjing is an important consumer market and agricultural product distribution hub in the Yangtze River Delta region, and Lanzhou's high-quality agricultural products are highly compatible with Nanjing's market demand, with the two places complementing each other's resources and enjoying broad space for cooperation.
The event was hosted by the Lanzhou Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau and the Yuzhong County Government.
