Chongqing Iron & Steel Company Limited has confirmed the transition to electronic dissemination for all future corporate communications, effective immediately. According to the reminder dated 29 April 2026, both English and Chinese versions of documents such as annual reports, interim reports, meeting notices, circulars, listing documents and proxy forms will be published exclusively on the company’s website (www.cqgt.cn) and the HKEXnews platform (www.hkexnews.hk). No hard copies will be mailed unless specifically requested.
The company reports that it has not yet received valid email contacts from intermediaries holding shares on behalf of non-registered shareholders. Affected investors are instructed to provide functional email addresses to their respective banks, brokers, custodians, nominees or HKSCC Nominees Limited to ensure timely receipt of electronic notices.
Shareholders preferring printed materials can submit a completed reply form to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong or email chongqingiron@computershare.com.hk, specifying name, address and language preference (English, Chinese or both).
The board secretary, Kuang Yunlong, underscored that investors must proactively monitor the designated websites for the release of corporate documents, as the company will no longer distribute paper versions by default.
