China Mobile Announces HKD 2.52 Final Dividend for FY 2025; Payment Set for 24 June 2026

China Mobile Limited released a cash dividend announcement on 26 March 2026, declaring a final dividend of HKD 2.52 per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2025. The payout is conditional upon shareholder approval at the annual general meeting scheduled for 21 May 2026.

The Hong Kong-listed shares (stock code 00941) will trade ex-dividend on 5 June 2026. The last day to lodge share transfers is 8 June 2026 at 16:30, followed by a book-closure period from 9 June to 11 June 2026. Entitlement will be determined on the record date of 11 June 2026, with cash distribution slated for 24 June 2026. Dividend payments will be made in Hong Kong dollars; the declared exchange rate is fixed at HKD 1:HKD 1. A renminbi counter (stock code 80941) is also available.

In line with the PRC Enterprise Income Tax Law, China Mobile will withhold a 10 % enterprise income tax from the 2025 final dividend paid to non-resident enterprise shareholders whose names appear on the register as of 11 June 2026. Natural-person investors are not subject to this withholding. Holders who qualify as PRC resident enterprises and wish to be exempt must submit valid tax-authority documentation to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited no later than 8 June 2026.

Investors accessing the company through Shanghai-Hong Kong or Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect will receive the dividend via HKSCC after the 10 % enterprise income tax has been deducted. China Mobile emphasized that any change in shareholder status should be handled through the respective nominees or trustees before the relevant deadlines.
