Maoming Company Becomes First AEO-Certified Enterprise This Year

Deep News12-08

Recently, Guangdong Xinhua Yue Resin Co., Ltd. officially obtained AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification from Zhanjiang Customs, making it the first company in Maoming this year and the first enterprise certified by Zhanjiang Customs in 2025. With this addition, the total number of AEO-certified enterprises in Maoming has reached 10, spanning industries such as food, chemicals, and textiles.

AEO certification, recognized as a "golden standard" in international trade, represents the highest credit rating awarded by China Customs. Certified enterprises enjoy domestic benefits such as lower inspection rates, priority customs clearance, and exemption from guarantees. Additionally, they gain access to streamlined customs procedures in economies and regions with mutual AEO recognition agreements, enhancing their global trade competitiveness.

Located in Maoming High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Guangdong Xinhua Yue Resin specializes in manufacturing chemical raw materials and products, including dicyclopentadiene, methylcyclopentadiene dimer, and petroleum resin. Its high-quality products are exported to the U.S., Russia, Japan, South Korea, Belgium, Italy, and other markets.

During the certification process, Zhanjiang Customs and Maoming Customs provided tailored guidance, helping the company align with AEO standards through gap analysis and continuous improvement.

"Obtaining AEO certification has allowed us to systematically optimize internal controls and compliance, securing a 'green pass' for international trade and marking a new phase of safer, more efficient global expansion," said Zhu Liqin, a company representative.

Moving forward, Zhanjiang Customs will continue promoting AEO certification among Maoming’s high-potential enterprises, fostering broader access to customs facilitation measures and supporting the city’s foreign trade growth.
