CapitaLand Ascendas REIT revises use of equity proceeds, channels 30.9 million Singapore dollars to debt repayment

SGX Filings06-11

CapitaLand Ascendas REIT said on Jun, 11 2026 it has adjusted the allocation of funds raised from its March 2026 equity fund-raising exercise that generated approximately 903.5 million Singapore dollars in gross proceeds.

The manager has deployed an additional 35.1 million Singapore dollars, equivalent to 3.9% of the total proceeds, mainly to cover transaction expenses and repay borrowings previously drawn for investments, developments and asset enhancement initiatives.

A further 30.9 million Singapore dollars—originally earmarked for the potential purchase of a light industrial asset in Singapore and for related expenses—will also be redirected to debt repayment, after the manager decided not to proceed with that acquisition and actual fundraising costs came in lower than expected.

Following the latest adjustments, 603.0 million Singapore dollars of the proceeds have been utilised, leaving 300.5 million Singapore dollars yet to be deployed. The manager said it will provide updates as the remaining funds are disbursed.
