At the 2026 Yabulu Forum Annual Meeting held from March 17 to 19 in Yabulu, Heilongjiang, Xingxing Wang, founder of Unitree Robotics, shared his expectations for the development of humanoid robots. He anticipates that within the next few months, by mid-year, humanoid robots globally, particularly those developed in China, will achieve running speeds surpassing that of humans, even faster than Usain Bolt. Specifically, Wang projected that these robots could complete a 100-meter sprint in under ten seconds.
