Alibaba, Bilibili, Gamestop, Grab, Novavax and More: U.S. Stocks To Watch

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Novavax, Inc. said the U.S. FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee voted to recommend that the FDA grant Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine (NVX-CoV2373) for individuals aged 18 years and over. Novavax shares jumped 22.1% to $58.05 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Grab is launching a new enterprise service, GrabMaps, as it seeks to tap the US$1 billion mapping and location-based services market in Southeast Asia. The mapping and location services GrabMaps provide include routing, estimated time of arrival, distance and points of interest. However, its stocks slid over 2% in premarket trading.
  • BilibiliPinduoduo and Alibaba jumped over 5% in premarket trading. China's regulator National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) granted the second batch of licenses to 60 online games in the biggest mass approval of titles for computers and smartphones since July 2021. It may spark hopes that tech crackdown is ending.
  • Although short interest is now nowhere near the exaggerated levels that preceded January 2021's historic rally, data from S3 Partners shows that short interest in both GameStop and AMC is looking elevated once again, having reached its highest level in about a year. Gamestop, AMC slid nearly 4% and over 2% in premarket trading after surging over 14% and 9% yesterday.
  • Credit Suisse's previous two quarters were unprofitable, and it said it was challenged by more volatile markets, weak customer flows and continued debt reduction by clients, especially in the Asia-Pacific and China region, in the latest three-month period.Stocks slid over 7% in Premarket trading.
  • Wall Street expects Campbell Soup Company to report quarterly earnings at $0.61 per share on revenue of $2.05 billion before the opening bell. Campbell Soup shares rose 0.6% to $46.87 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts are expecting ABM Industries Incorporated to have earned $0.84 per share on revenue of $1.88 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings after the markets close. ABM shares rose 0.3% to $50.26 in after-hours trading.
  • Verint Systems Inc. reported better-than-expected results for its first quarter on Tuesday. Verint Systems shares gained 0.7% to $52.80 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Thor Industries, Inc. to post quarterly earnings at $4.72 per share on revenue of $4.18 billion before the opening bell. Thor Industries shares rose 1.7% to $77.50 in after-hours trading.
