Iran Reports Tanker Struck Mine and Caught Fire in Eastern Hormuz Strait After Ignoring Warnings

Deep News02:10

On the afternoon of the 31st local time, the Iranian Navy announced that a tanker violating regulations was navigating through a restricted zone in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz and struck a mine, catching fire, after disregarding Iranian warnings.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the U.S. President made false remarks, and Iran's control policy in the Strait of Hormuz will not change.

All vessels, especially oil tankers and commercial ships, must strictly comply with the maritime warnings and restricted zone regulations issued by Iran, and must not enter dangerous areas or shut down their tracking systems.
