Data released on February 2nd by the Xinhua crude oil price system indicated that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oils was 4.99% as of January 30th. According to the "Petroleum Price Management Measures," domestic gasoline and diesel prices are adjusted every 10 working days based on changes in international crude oil prices, with new prices taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced. When the price adjustment amount is less than 50 yuan per ton, no adjustment is made; the amount is instead carried over to be accumulated or offset against the next price adjustment. Under special circumstances specified by the measures, price adjustments can be suspended, delayed, or implemented with a reduced magnitude. February 2nd marks the ninth working day of the current pricing cycle, with the price adjustment window set to open at 24:00 on February 3rd. This round is expected to see an increase in domestic gasoline and diesel prices, with an estimated rise of approximately 225 yuan per ton.
