Kweichow Moutai Announces Key Leadership Appointment: Shan Yanzhong Appointed as Deputy Party Secretary

On June 5th, an announcement was made through the official social media account of Kweichow Moutai Group. The post detailed that Chen Hua, the Group's Party Committee Secretary and Chairman, visited Daozhen to inspect the company's rural revitalization support initiatives. Shan Yanzhong, the Group's Deputy Party Committee Secretary, participated in the visit.

This official communication confirms that Shan Yanzhong has been appointed to the role of Deputy Party Committee Secretary for Kweichow Moutai Group.

Public records indicate that Shan Yanzhong previously held positions within the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guizhou Province. In 2017, he served as the Director of the Commission's General Office (Party Committee Office). His career later progressed to roles at Guizhou Wujiang Energy Group and Guizhou Energy Group. In May 2024, he was transferred to Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd., taking on the positions of Member of the Party Committee and Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team dispatched by the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Supervisory Commission to the company.

Furthermore, the position of Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team, which Shan Yanzhong previously held, has now been assumed by Lai Zhujiang. Lai Zhujiang also concurrently serves as a Member of the Party Committee for Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd.
