Qimai Data recently unveiled its November 2025 rankings for popular mobile games, featuring the Top 30 download and revenue charts. The month saw a vibrant market with classic IP adaptations gaining instant traction and established titles experiencing renewed growth through quality content.

In the download rankings, TENCENT's (00700) titles claimed the top three spots: "Delta Force: Operation," "Valorant: Source Action," and "Honor of Kings." The revenue chart was led by "Honor of Kings" and "Delta Force: Operation" at No. 1 and 2, respectively, while "Endless Winter" climbed one spot to No. 3.

Six new games entered the download Top 30, including "Heroes of War," "Blade Song: Bleach," and "Dawn of the Wasteland." Among them, ByteDance’s "Blade Song: Bleach," a 3D action game based on the iconic manga "BLEACH," debuted strongly at No. 12 after its November 21 global launch. Pre-registrations exceeded 15 million, and it topped China’s iOS free chart for days. The game’s faithful adaptation of the IP, from storyline to combat mechanics, resonated deeply with fans.

Another standout was Lingxi Games’ "Dawn of the Wasteland," a survival-building title that surged to No. 17. Its streamlined "primitive survival" theme attracted over 8 million pre-registrations and topped Apple’s adventure charts post-launch.

By publisher, TENCENT dominated with 11 entries, while NTES-S (09999) secured three. The revenue chart welcomed six newcomers, including miHoYo’s turn-based RPG "Honkai: Star Rail," which jumped to No. 12 after its 3.7 update. The update introduced the finale of the "Onphalos" storyline and a new character, driving global sales.

NTES-S’s social adventure "Sky: Children of the Light" also gained traction, entering the Top 30 after seasonal updates and Halloween events. The game’s cross-media expansions, including an animated film, extended its IP reach.

Cross-media storytelling emerged as a key trend, with titles like "Honor of Kings" and "Justice Online" leveraging short dramas. YSJ’s "This City Has Fertile Land" blended gameplay with cultural narratives, exemplified by its collaborations with historical dramas and animations.

Action games led the rankings with eight entries, followed by strategy (five). TENCENT and NTES-S remained dominant, underscoring the industry’s reliance on deep content innovation and refined operations for sustained growth.
