According to the latest reports, PDD Holdings Inc's Xiongan company has onboarded over 600 new employees, establishing it as the largest private internet enterprise in the new area.

Since establishing its presence in the Xiongan New Area, the company has been accelerating a comprehensive layout of talent, resources, and industry, focusing on driving the high-quality development of the new area's digital economy sector.

In terms of talent recruitment, PDD has launched a special hiring initiative, with nearly thirty employees signing contracts directly with the company on an average workday, continuously supplying Xiongan with skilled professionals for internet, big data, and related industries.

Currently, more than 80% of the employees at PDD's Xiongan company are from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, with the proportion of recent graduates steadily increasing. Graduates from the class of 2026 from universities in Beijing, Hebei, and elsewhere are continuously arriving in the new area.

Previously, it was reported that the initial batch of job openings offered by PDD in Xiongan reached 1,000 positions. The entire hiring cycle is expected to provide over 5,000 job opportunities locally. Within just one month, over 60% of these initial positions have already been filled.

As the employee count continues to rise, PDD has further opened up various management-level positions in its recruitment, including team leaders, supervisors, and managers. A series of new roles have also been added, such as mid-platform operations, data analysis, quality inspection specialists, and training supervisors and experts.

Additionally, PDD's Xiongan company will establish promotion pathways for employees through internal competitions, aiming to cultivate more management talent.

On June 21st, PDD Group formally completed a contract signing with China Power Construction, purchasing an entire 12-story office building in the Xiongan New Area. This makes PDD the first internet company to purchase an office building in the new area.

It is understood that this office building is equipped with a large conference center and training center, and includes welfare facilities for employees such as nursing rooms and leisure areas. It is expected to be officially operational by the end of July, and the entire staff of PDD's Xiongan company will move into the new office building at that time.

Prior to this, a delegation led by Zhu Zheng, Executive President of PDD Group and President of New Pinduoduo, visited the Xiongan New Area for inspection and research, and formally signed a "Digital Service Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" with the Xiongan New Area Management Committee.

Over the past month, PDD's expansion into Xiongan has accelerated significantly, achieving a series of substantive milestones including company registration, strategic agreement signing, property acquisition, and the onboarding of 600 employees, solidifying its position as the largest private internet enterprise in the new area.

PDD has stated that the group will establish deep roots in Xiongan, serve Xiongan, increase resource investment and industrial layout, actively explore more collaborative potential, implement more business scenarios, empower the upstream and downstream industrial chains with digital technology, and build a modern, integrated supply chain system. It aims to contribute to the high-quality construction and development of the Xiongan New Area through concrete actions.
