Hongkong Electric Finance Limited, as Issuer, and The Hongkong Electric Company, Limited, as Guarantor, have announced an application for listing and permission to deal in US$500,000,000 4.75 per cent. notes due 2036 on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The notes (Stock Code: 40072) are issued under a US$5,000,000,000 Medium Term Note Programme. According to the announcement, the listing of and permission to deal in the notes are expected to take effect on 4 February 2026.
