Hunan Agricultural University has made a commitment to cover four years of tuition and provide an accessible dormitory for a prospective student, He Yonghui. The student, from Xinhua, Hunan, gained public attention for his dedication during the college entrance examination period. He achieved a score of 526 on the gaokao and has expressed a strong interest in attending Hunan Agricultural University.

On June 26th, faculty members from the university visited He Yonghui at his home to offer academic guidance. During the visit, they formally promised to waive his tuition for the full four-year duration of his studies and to arrange suitable, accessible on-campus housing for him.

University representatives stated that they were deeply impressed by He Yonghui's resilience, filial piety, and determination, describing him as a promising young individual. They expressed a warm welcome to him as a potential member of their student body. The faculty members also extended an invitation for him to visit the campus in person to experience the university environment firsthand. However, due to his responsibilities caring for his grandmother, which prevent him from traveling, the university decided to bring the guidance and support directly to him.
