Bank Of Shanghai Completes Issuance of 10 Billion Yuan Perpetual Capital Bonds

On December 11, Bank Of Shanghai Co.,Ltd. announced the successful issuance of its 2025 perpetual capital bonds on the same day.

The bonds, with a total issuance scale of 10 billion yuan, carry a coupon rate of 2.42%. These perpetual bonds will remain valid as long as the bank continues operations, and the raised funds will be used to supplement the bank's additional tier 1 capital.

The issuance received approval from the People's Bank of China and the Shanghai office of the National Financial Regulatory Administration. The bonds have been registered and deposited with the Shanghai Clearing House.
