US stocks opened lower: Dow down 0.13%, S&P 500 down 0.88%, Nasdaq down 1.5%.

Major tech and chip companies led the decline, with SanDisk and Meta falling more than 5%, SK Hynix down 4.5%, SpaceX down 4%, and Tesla down nearly 3%.
