Horizon Robot-W Surges Over 8% in Morning Trading Following Major HSD V2.0 Driver Assistance System Upgrade

Stock News06-30

HORIZONROBOT-W (ASX: 09660) shares surged more than 8% in morning trade. At the time of writing, the stock is up 6.52% to HK$4.41, with a turnover of HK$1.077 billion.

The catalyst for the move is the official launch on June 29th of the company's full-scenario advanced driver-assistance system, HSD V2.0. This new version is built on a world model and end-to-end reinforcement learning. The iCAR V27 will be the first model to feature the system, with over-the-air upgrades being rolled out to owners in batches starting June 30th.

This V2.0 release represents the most significant OTA update since HSD's initial launch, featuring advancements across six key dimensions, 18 new functions, and 25 experience optimizations.

Analysts have previously highlighted that as a leading supplier of advanced and high-level autonomous driving solutions for passenger vehicles, Horizon Robot-W is well-positioned. The mass production of HSD and the further scaling of its mid-to-high-end products, combined with cockpit-driving integration and global Tier 1 partnerships, are expected to unlock greater value per vehicle and expand its international market opportunities.
