Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan is partnering with NVIDIA to develop solutions that integrate robotics with embodied artificial intelligence. A joint research and development center will be established in Silicon Valley to support this initiative.
The initial phase of the collaboration will concentrate on the medical and mobility sectors. NVIDIA's simulation technology will be applied to Kawasaki's four-legged personal mobility robot, Corleo, which is currently under development.
This joint R&D facility will be located in San Jose, California.
In addition to NVIDIA, Kawasaki Heavy Industries will also collaborate with Analog Devices, Microsoft, and Fujitsu at the center for joint research and development work.
