Upon starting, Qiao Shan immediately entered a busy phase. Beyond leading project advancement and attending daily in-depth training, he was deeply involved in building the new team, witnessing firsthand the entire process of developing a project and team from scratch. He notes that at large internet companies, most employees feel like "cogs in a machine," with good ideas hard to implement, whereas at PDD Holdings Inc, innovative thinking is encouraged and rapidly validated, making him feel he has "found his arena."
Similarly, Liang Zhen, a veteran of the internet industry who has worked in cities like Haikou and Chengdu, returned to his home region in the north full of drive. He quickly settled into his role, focusing daily on team building and working with mentors to develop staff enablement plans, finding the busy schedule highly motivating. Also attracted by the new company's prospects is Fu Tian, a post-90s professional from Yunnan with seven years in the internet sector, previously holding a management role at a Beijing-based internet firm. Since late last year, he had been monitoring job opportunities at PDD Holdings Inc and promptly applied upon learning of the Xiongan unit's establishment. Recalling the hiring process, he expressed excitement. "The company was highly efficient. From three rounds of interviews to receiving the final offer took less than a week." He values this opportunity greatly, departing from his hometown in Yunnan for Xiongan just three days after getting the offer.
In his new role focused on review management, Fu Tian is responsible for platform content ecosystem management, full product lifecycle quality control, and optimizing review processes. He notes that in the industry, review positions are often outsourced, but PDD Holdings Inc not only offers direct employment but also provides full social security, housing fund, and specialized training, reflecting the company's emphasis on platform ecosystem optimization and its commitment to deeply participating in Xiongan's development.
Since establishing the new company in Xiongan, PDD Holdings Inc has accelerated its specialized recruitment drive, with nearly thirty employees signing contracts on average each workday, over 80% of whom are from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. With the graduation season underway, the Xiongan unit has also expanded its recruitment of graduates from the region, actively promoting university graduate employment and supporting coordinated regional development.
Xie Zhenyu, a 2003-born recent graduate from a Hebei university, was recently anxious about job hunting. Despite daily applications and interviews, the offers he received were unsatisfactory. In early June, he received an interview invitation from the new PDD Holdings Inc company. The opportunity from a leading platform, close to home, with comprehensive benefits, strongly appealed to him. "My home is in Dingxing County, Baoding, less than 40 kilometers from Xiongan New Area, under an hour's drive. Not long ago, PDD Holdings Inc formally announced the establishment of Pinduoduo Information Technology Service (Xiongan) Co., Ltd., with an initial cash injection of 5 billion yuan. The unit will focus on businesses like big data processing, digital operations and maintenance, and cloud platform services in Xiongan. It has launched a specialized recruitment plan, directly hiring for roles such as customer service, review, operations, and IT maintenance. The entire hiring cycle is expected to create over 5,000 local jobs, continuously injecting new vitality into Xiongan's digital economy industry and supporting the new area's high-quality, high-standard development.
