On Wednesday, the group said its proposed diversification will require the approval of shareholders. Shares of Asia-Pacific Strategic Investments closed flat at S$0.001 on Tuesday before it requested a trading halt the following morning. The counter resumes trading on Thursday.

Singapore among top 3 busiest international flight routes in 2024: report

Singapore is on three of the world’s busiest international flight routes this year, said a report released by global travel data platform OAG on Wednesday (Dec 18).

Globally, the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore route is the fourth-busiest international airline route for 2024, with the capacity on this route up 10 per cent – to 5.4 million seats – compared with that in 2023, according to the report.
