AAC TECH (02018) saw its shares rise more than 6% during the trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.88%, trading at HK$33.88 with a turnover of HK$138 million. The movement follows Honor's recent unveiling of its first consumer-market humanoid robot at MWC 2026. Media reports today indicated that Honor's inaugural consumer humanoid robot is expected to enter small-batch production in the second half of 2026. As a long-term key partner of Honor in the consumer electronics sector, AAC TECH has been deeply involved in the development of its core structural and precision manufacturing systems for years, undertaking the development and delivery of precision structural components for core motion units in the head and leg sections. Notably, AAC TECH recently released its annual results, reporting revenue of RMB 31.817 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.4%, reaching a record high. Net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 2.512 billion, up 39.8% year-on-year. The revenue growth was primarily driven by strong performance in optical, acoustic, and electromagnetic transmission businesses, with emerging segments like thermal management showing rapid expansion. The profit increase was mainly due to continued improvements in the profitability of the optical business and growth in revenue from high-margin operations.
