China Aluminum Cans Holdings Limited reported the on-market repurchase of 2.55 million ordinary shares on 3 September 2026 at prices ranging between HK$0.695 and HK$0.70 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HK$0.70. The transaction totalled HK$1.78 million and represented 0.27% of the company’s 941.40 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the buyback.
The repurchased shares are designated for cancellation and have not yet been extinguished as of 3 September 2026; therefore, the issued share count remains unchanged at 941.40 million.
The purchase was executed under the general mandate approved by shareholders on 22 May 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 94.40 million shares. Including the latest transaction, China Aluminum Cans has repurchased 25.19 million shares year-to-date—equivalent to 2.67% of the issued share base at the time the mandate was granted.
In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales following the repurchase, lasting until 3 October 2026.
All repurchases were confirmed by the board as fully compliant with the Main Board Listing Rules and relevant regulatory requirements.
