Yankuang Energy Expects 56% YoY Jump in 9-M 2026 Net Profit to RMB11.10 Billion

Bulletin Express10-20

Yankuang Energy Group Company Limited has issued a positive profit alert, projecting net profit attributable to shareholders of approximately RMB11.10 billion for the nine months ended 30 September 2026. The figure represents a year-on-year increase of about RMB4.00 billion, or 56%, versus the comparable period in 2025.

After excluding non-recurring items, attributable net profit is estimated at RMB8.50 billion, up RMB2.00 billion, or 31%, on the prior-year period. The company’s preliminary estimates have not yet been audited; detailed results will be released in its forthcoming third-quarter report.

For reference, Yankuang Energy recorded RMB13.80 billion in total profit and RMB7.10 billion in attributable net profit for the first three quarters of 2025, with earnings per share of RMB0.71. Core earnings (excluding non-recurring gains and losses) were RMB6.50 billion.

Management attributes the anticipated profit improvement to:

• Higher market prices for coal and coal-chemical products, which bolstered operating margins. • Increased investment income following the public listing and transfer of 100% equity in Inner Mongolia Xintai Coal Co., Ltd.

The company noted that foreign-exchange hedging losses, asset impairments and provisions related to tax litigation and consumption tax partially offset the earnings gains.

Yankuang Energy stated that no significant uncertainties are expected to affect the accuracy of these preliminary results but advised investors to await the detailed third-quarter report for finalised figures and to exercise caution when dealing in its shares.
