Stock News06-18

DOBOT (02432) shares rose more than 5% in trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.22% to HK$29, with a turnover of HK$47.4292 million.

The catalyst for the move was the company's recent preview of its next-generation AI-powered humanoid robot designed for companionship and interaction. This launch signifies a redefinition of the in-home embodied intelligence sector through the company's fully self-developed "Kongyi DobotWAM" embodied large model. The new product, specifically crafted for home environments, marks a milestone for DOBOT as its humanoid robots transition from industrial and commercial settings into real household scenarios.

It is reported that the company's wheeled humanoid robots have already secured orders for industrial applications, with shipments expected to reach a thousand units this year. The company also targets ten-thousand-level shipments for its quadruped robots. The launch of this new product further enriches DOBOT's portfolio of offerings for the home.

Analysts view DOBOT as a rare entity that currently holds a leading global position in collaborative robots while also possessing full-stack, self-developed capabilities in embodied intelligence. The company's collaborative arm business is expected to enter a phase of multiple positive catalysts by 2026, including new product volume expansion, customer repurchases, capacity growth, and profit improvement. Meanwhile, its embodied intelligence business has clear shipment targets and is accelerating its path to commercial deployment.
