At the 2026 8th Beijing Zhiyuan Conference held today, Wang Jian, Director of the Zhejiang Lab and founder of Alibaba Cloud, shared his perspective, stating, "I am a firm disbeliever that artificial intelligence will replace humans."
He drew an analogy, noting, "A dog's nose is far more sensitive than a human's, but that does not harm us." Wang Jian pointed out that current discourse is often constrained by the very term "artificial intelligence." He advocated that for any matter, people should think beyond existing frameworks and avoid blind conformity.
