To thoroughly implement the guiding principles from the mobilization meeting for the construction of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone Hohhot Area, and to fully leverage the role of the Federation of Industry and Commerce as a bridge, providing precise services to help private enterprises expand into overseas markets, the Belt and Road Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Committee of the City Federation of Industry and Commerce conducted a special research visit to Wuchuan County on the afternoon of April 20. The research team carried out field visits to Inner Mongolia Menggelai Food Co., Ltd., Chuanbaojianong Import and Export Trading Company, and Inner Mongolia General Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. They inspected production workshops, product exhibition halls, and storage and logistics areas, carefully observing the enterprises' production and processing workflows, product quality control, brand development, and current operational status. The visit provided a comprehensive understanding of the industrial foundation, resource advantages, and market prospects for Wuchuan County's specialty agricultural products sector. During one-on-one discussions with company executives, the research team attentively listened to presentations on basic operational conditions, core product lines, and competitive market advantages. They inquired in detail about existing export business layouts, target international markets, annual trade figures, and future plans for global expansion and market development. The team also focused on identifying challenges in the export process and gathering development requests, aiming to clarify the potential and bottlenecks for Wuchuan County's specialty agricultural products in foreign trade. A list of specific enterprise requests was compiled to form a solid foundation for targeted follow-up measures and precise support services. Moving forward, the City Federation of Industry and Commerce will continue to focus on the overseas development needs of private enterprises. It will fully utilize the platform function of the Belt and Road Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Committee to continuously integrate resources from various parties and optimize service provision. The goal is to facilitate more high-quality specialty agricultural products from the capital city to steadily access markets in countries along the Belt and Road, leveraging the policy advantages of the Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone and the corridor benefits of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor. This effort aims to serve the high-quality economic and social development of the capital through high-level opening-up and contribute the wisdom and strength of the Federation of Industry and Commerce to the construction of the Hohhot Area of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
