Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has announced its annualized revenue has surpassed $30 billion, marking a substantial increase from $9 billion at the end of 2025. The company confirmed partnerships with Broadcom and Google to expand its AI computing capacity in support of its rapidly growing operations.
Anthropic stated that demand for its Claude service has accelerated significantly this year, with over 1,000 enterprise clients now spending more than $1 million annually on the service. This figure has more than doubled since February. Annualized revenue is a commonly used metric among technology startups to project current sales figures over a full-year period.
Chief Financial Officer Krishna Rao said in a statement that the collaborations with Broadcom and Google will help the company build the computing infrastructure necessary to support its remarkable customer growth. The partnership was initially disclosed last month.
The latest financial data indicates that a high-profile dispute between Anthropic and the U.S. government has not hampered its expansion. The U.S. Department of Defense previously labeled Anthropic a supply chain threat following disagreements over AI safety guardrails, prompting the company to initiate legal proceedings.
Broadcom confirmed it will use Google's Tensor Processing Units to deliver chips to Anthropic, providing the market with an alternative to NVIDIA's technology. The three companies have also expanded a strategic collaboration through which Anthropic will gain access to approximately 3.5 gigawatts of computing power. This arrangement is scheduled to commence in 2027.
"Anthropic's utilization of this expanded AI computing capacity is contingent upon its continued commercial success. Discussions are underway with specific operational and financial partners regarding this deployment," Broadcom stated. Shares of Broadcom rose as much as 3.6% in after-hours trading.
