EPIWORLD Announces Postponement of Second-Term Board and Supervisory Committee Elections

Stock News05-11

EPIWORLD (02726) has announced a delay in the election process for its second-term board of directors and supervisory committee. The terms of office for the company's inaugural board and supervisory committee are scheduled to conclude on May 11, 2026. Due to ongoing preparations for the subsequent elections, the selection of the second-term board and supervisory committee will be appropriately postponed to ensure the continuity and stability of the company's operations. Consequently, the tenure of the current directors and supervisors will be extended until the date when the newly elected second-term board and supervisory committee formally assume their duties following the 2026 Annual General Meeting. The terms of office for all sub-committees of the board and supervisory committee will also be extended accordingly. Pending the completion of the second-term elections, which are anticipated to take place at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, all members of the current board and supervisory committee will continue to fulfill their respective obligations and responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and the company's articles of association, subject to shareholder approval. The postponement of these elections is not expected to impact the normal operations of EPIWORLD. The company will issue further announcements regarding the election of the second-term board and supervisory committee in due course, in compliance with the requirements of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's listing rules.
