周三夜间交易中，Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares (TSLL)股价大跌7.98%，主要受特斯拉公布的第二季度财报影响。
特斯拉公布的财报显示，第二季度营收为225亿美元，同比下降12%，低于分析师预期的226.4亿美元。调整后每股收益为0.40美元，也未达到市场预期的0.42美元。其中，汽车业务收入同比下降16%至166.61亿美元。
特斯拉CEO埃隆·马斯克在财报电话会议上警告投资者，公司正处于"奇怪的过渡期"，未来几个季度可能会很"艰难"。他表示："这是否意味着我们可能会有几个艰难的季度？是的，我们可能会有几个艰难的季度。"马斯克指出，公司正在应对电动汽车激励措施到期和更广泛的自动驾驶监管环境等挑战。
尽管如此，特斯拉仍在推进新车型计划。公司表示："我们将继续扩大汽车供应，包括在6月份首次推出一款更实惠的车型，计划在2025年下半年量产。"马斯克透露，这款新车将类似于Model Y，预计将在第四季度向公众推出。
