The 2026 Fortune China 500 ranking has been announced today.
The total operating revenue of the 500 listed Chinese companies for the 2025 fiscal year reached $14.26 trillion, representing an increase of approximately 0.3% compared to last year's list.
Their combined net profit amounted to $794.9 billion, a rise of about 5% year-over-year.
The minimum revenue threshold for inclusion on this year's list was approximately $3.54 billion.
Measured in US dollars, China's total GDP for 2025 was $19.63 trillion, meaning the combined revenue of the 500 companies on the list was close to three-quarters of the national GDP for that year.
Key Performance of Major Internet Firms
The ranking indicates that the revenue scale of China's leading internet companies continues to expand.
JD.com secured the 9th position, moving up two spots from the previous year.
Alibaba Group ranked 15th, climbing three places.
TENCENT (HKEX: 00700) held the 27th position, advancing five places.
Pinduoduo Inc. was placed 65th, also rising by five spots.
Meituan ranked 76th, moving up four places.
Among these five prominent companies, TENCENT was the only one to achieve year-on-year net profit growth, with its profit last year exceeding $31.2 billion, making it the most profitable internet enterprise on the list.
