Shares of HANSOH PHARMA (HKEX: 03692) opened notably higher, gaining over 2%. At the time of writing, the stock is up 2.08%, trading at HK$30.42 with a turnover of HK$16.4 million.

The upward movement follows a company announcement. On June 3, 2026, the New Drug Application (NDA) for its innovative drug, Olaipetide Injection, was officially accepted for review by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). This treatment is intended for the long-term management of body weight in adults who are overweight or obese.

The drug, Olaipetide, is a novel once-weekly dual agonist targeting both the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors. It is an internally developed product from the company's research pipeline.
