Pudu Robotics, a leading global enterprise in commercial service robots, recently announced the completion of a new funding round of nearly 1 billion yuan. Lens Technology has joined this round as a core strategic industrial investor. Following its previous success in helping Honor's self-developed humanoid robot win a marathon championship, Lens Technology is now fully committed to building the world's largest intelligent robotics manufacturing platform and becoming the leading supply chain partner for embodied intelligence. This is being achieved through deep capital partnerships and comprehensive technology transfer.
Lens Technology's participation in Pudu Robotics's multi-billion-yuan valuation funding round represents more than just financial backing; it signifies a deep infusion of underlying manufacturing capabilities. As a provider of one-stop, precision manufacturing solutions covering the entire AI hardware industry chain, Lens Technology will leverage its extensive expertise in glass, ceramics, specialty alloys, and micron-level processing. This will provide highly reliable and integrated hardware support for Pudu Robotics's "one-brain, multiple-forms" technical architecture. The two companies will engage in deep collaboration in the fields of smart hardware and precision manufacturing, jointly advancing the global, large-scale commercial deployment of embodied intelligence commercial service robots from the R&D and validation phase.
Lens Technology's precision manufacturing capabilities for complex electromechanical systems have been thoroughly validated in extreme application scenarios. At the recently concluded 2026 Beijing Yizhou Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon Challenge, Honor's self-developed humanoid robot secured the championship and multiple awards. Lens Technology supplied 132 types of core metal structural components for critical movement units, including the head, arms, hips, and legs. Faced with the demanding requirements for lightweight design and fatigue resistance necessitated by high-intensity, long-distance running, Lens Technology utilized its mature processes honed in the consumer electronics sector. This effectively ensured the high-frequency dynamic coordination of the robot's various joints, demonstrating a significant technological spillover effect.
To meet the explosive global demand in the robotics industry, Lens Technology is accelerating the development of a vertically integrated supply chain ecosystem. In terms of production capacity, the company's Yong'an facility in China is fully operational, with a planned dedicated annual capacity of up to 500,000 units for embodied intelligence products. Concurrently, it is expanding production at overseas bases, such as in Thailand, to establish an efficient global delivery network. Furthermore, as a key orchestrator within the industrial chain, Lens Technology is actively collaborating with upstream and downstream partners. For instance, it is conducting joint research and development with precision transmission leader Wuzhou Xinchun on core components like lead screws and high-end bearings. This initiative aims to overcome capacity and cost constraints in high-value upstream segments, thereby removing bottlenecks for the mass adoption of embodied intelligence.
Lens Technology has successfully established a complete business model encompassing in-house R&D of core components, precision structural part manufacturing, and final assembly. According to its annual report, the revenue of Lens Intelligent Robotics surpassed 1 billion yuan in 2025. Looking ahead, with the increasing global shipments from ecosystem partners like Pudu and the accelerating adoption of humanoid robots, Lens Technology's robotics business scale is expected to double in 2026.
