The South Jingye Community in the Shiyou Sub-district recently organized a visit and goodwill activity for retired veteran cadres during the Dragon Boat Festival, aiming to honor the traditional Chinese virtues of respecting, caring for, and cherishing the elderly, as well as to acknowledge the significant contributions these veteran cadres have made to the community's development and to convey the care and warmth of the Party organization to them.
During the visits, community staff engaged in heartfelt and friendly conversations with the veteran cadres and their family members. They inquired in detail about the cadres' health conditions, daily routines, family situations, and any specific needs they might have. The community also presented holiday gifts and extended sincere festive greetings to the retired veteran cadres.
This visitation initiative not only allowed the veteran cadres to genuinely feel the care and warmth from the Party organization, helping to bridge the distance between the community and these senior members, but also strengthened the bonds between the Party, the masses, and the cadres. Furthermore, it provided an opportunity for younger cadres to draw valuable inspiration from the veteran cadres' spirit of dedication, selfless service, and steadfast commitment to their original aspirations.
