Tencent Music Announces Plans for Public Offering of Senior Notes

TME-SW (01698) has announced its intention to proceed with a public offering of senior unsecured notes, according to a recent company filing.

The company stated on September 1, 2026 (Eastern Time) that the offering will be conducted in one or more series, subject to prevailing market conditions and other factors. The notes are to be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and are expected to be listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The company intends to utilize the net proceeds from the proposed offering for general corporate purposes, which include refinancing existing offshore debt and funding potential share repurchases.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited have been appointed as joint bookrunners for the offering. Additionally, UBS AG Hong Kong Branch, Bank of China Limited, and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (Asia) Limited will serve as joint lead managers.
