Bank of Zhengzhou Co., Ltd. announced on Tuesday that it has successfully issued a 6 billion yuan subordinated bond in the interbank bond market. The issuance, approved by the National Financial Regulatory Administration's Henan Office and the People's Bank of China, was completed on August 6, with books closed on August 4.
The 10-year fixed-rate bond carries a coupon of 1.97% and includes a conditional issuer call option after five years. Proceeds from the bond will be used to bolster the bank's Tier 2 capital, subject to regulatory approval and applicable laws.
