Shenzhen Woer Heat-Shrinkable Material Co.,Ltd. (002130.SZ) announced plans to invest up to RMB1.5 billion in self-raised funds for the expansion of its Shuikou Industrial Park project in Huicheng District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province.

The project will include construction of new factory buildings and supporting facilities, procurement of fixed assets, and working capital allocation. The expanded facility will serve as a R&D, production, and sales base focusing on high-performance communication cables (including Lotium high-speed communication wires, automotive smart industrial wires, automated high-flex cables, and industrial robot cables) as well as polymer foam materials.

With an estimated construction period of two years, the expansion aims to meet growing business demands. The company stated this strategic capacity planning will mitigate operational risks caused by production shortages while enhancing overall production reserves and delivery capabilities.
