BLACK SESAME (ASX: 02533) shares have risen by more than 5%, with a gain of 5.56% at the time of writing to reach HK$11.96, on a trading volume of HK$46.32 million.
The catalyst for the move is the company's recent announcement that it has completed the acquisition of Yizhi Electronics. This acquisition is a key strategic move for BLACK SESAME to enhance its edge AI portfolio and expand its coverage across full-scenario inference computing power.
Prior to the deal, the parties involved signed a three-year performance commitment. Under this agreement, Yizhi Electronics is required to achieve total pre-tax revenues of no less than 1.2 billion yuan over the 2026-2028 period, with yearly targets of 300 million, 400 million, and 500 million yuan, respectively.
Concurrently, its net profit for the same three years must total no less than 90 million yuan, with annual targets set at 5 million, 35 million, and 50 million yuan.
Following the completion of the acquisition, BLACK SESAME has officially established a comprehensive computing power matrix spanning from 0.5T to 1000T and beyond.
The company's Huashan and Wudang series will continue to focus deeply on high-computing power core sectors such as ADAS, Robotaxi, and robot brains.
The three product lines from Yizhi—SV, SH, and SA—will precisely fill the gap in low-power computing from 0.5T to 2T.
Furthermore, the combined entity plans to jointly develop mid-range, high-reliability chips with 2T to 10T computing power, targeting emerging application scenarios like integrated front-view systems and robotic vacuum cleaners.
