Henan Shijia Photons Technology Reports 45.3% Net Profit Surge in First Half of 2026

Stock News07-31

Revenue for Henan Shijia Photons Technology Co.,Ltd. (688313.SH) reached RMB 1.495 billion in the first half of 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 50.66%. Net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 315 million, up 45.30% from the prior corresponding period.

Excluding non-recurring gains and losses, net profit attributable to shareholders came in at RMB 309 million, a rise of 44.42%. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.6964. The strong performance was driven by rapid growth in the data communications market, fueled by AI computing demand. The company adapted well to market conditions, its products gained a competitive edge, and customer recognition improved, resulting in a higher order volume compared to the same period last year.

The company continued to enhance its operational and management capabilities, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements while boosting product yield. This strengthened product competitiveness and improved profitability. Research and development expenditure as a proportion of revenue fell by 2.22 percentage points from the prior year, primarily because revenue growth outpaced the increase in R&D spending. Henan Shijia Photons Technology maintains its "chip-centric" R&D strategy, persisting in deep investment in core technologies and strategically key areas. R&D spending on optical chips continued to rise, while outlays for fiber optic connector patch cords and indoor optical cables declined. This drop was mainly due to the fact that the prior period had higher material costs during the early R&D phase for MPO and MMC high-speed connection patch cords, whereas in the current period, the process routes for these products have matured, reducing R&D material expenses.
