BFB Health Limited published its Environmental, Social and Governance Report for the year ended 31 December 2025, covering operations at the Group’s Beijing office, its core advertising hub.
Environmental Highlights • Direct greenhouse-gas emissions (Scope 1) remained stable at 1.50 tonnes CO₂-e; Scope 2 emissions data were unavailable during the period. • Emissions intensity rose to 0.10 tonnes CO₂-e per employee, up from 0.027 tonnes in 2024, against a target to keep or reduce intensity versus the 2021 baseline by 2025. • Direct energy use increased to 23.40 GJ, while total energy consumption reached 9.50 MWh-e, implying an energy-intensity level of 0.633 MWh-e per employee. • Air emissions from a single vehicle fleet were minimal: NOx 0.08 kg, SOx 0.06 kg and respirable suspended particles 0.01 kg. • The “paper-less” initiative and 3R waste approach kept hazardous waste negligible; no reduction targets were set given the low baseline.
Climate Governance and Risk Management • The Board assumes overall responsibility for climate strategy, supported by an ESG Working Group that reports at least annually. • Identified risks include acute weather disruptions, rising compliance costs from potential carbon-pricing, and shifting customer preferences; opportunities lie in energy efficiency and sustainability-linked services. • Qualitative scenario analysis suggests the Group’s office-based model provides resilience under both 1.5-2°C and higher-warming pathways.
Social Performance • Total workforce stood at 47, down from 55 a year earlier; 57% were male and 72% aged 30 or below. • Employee turnover climbed to 73%, led by departures among staff under 30; China accounted for 86% of total exits. • The Group recorded zero work-related fatalities for the third consecutive year and reported no lost-time injuries. • Average staff training reached 7.5 hours per participant across all grades, delivered mainly through mentorship and in-house programmes.
Governance and Compliance • No incidents of non-compliance were reported with respect to environmental laws, labour standards or anti-corruption regulations. • All directors and key employees completed anti-bribery training; whistle-blowing channels remain in place. • The supply base comprised nine approved vendors, 78% of whom are located in China and subject to periodic ESG screening.
Targets and Outlook • Management reaffirmed the goal to keep or lower greenhouse-gas emissions intensity at or below the 2021 benchmark by 2025. • Future priorities include securing Scope 2 electricity data, evaluating Scope 3 emissions and exploring renewable-energy procurement.
The 2025 ESG Report emphasises BFB Health’s continued compliance record, heightened focus on climate resilience and the challenges of improving emissions intensity amid organisational changes.
