To further enhance the brand recognition of its "One Product, One Broadcast" e-commerce initiative supporting farmers, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Quzhou County organized a specialized training session for agricultural e-commerce hosts on June 3rd. The event, held at the county's public training base, attracted over 150 participants, including major crop and livestock producers, heads of family farms and agricultural cooperatives, rural e-commerce practitioners, and grassroots agricultural specialists.
The training program was designed with a practical, locally-focused, and skill-enhancing approach, tailored specifically to the sales needs of Quzhou's distinctive agricultural products such as succulent plants, seedlings, and coarse grains like millet. The curriculum concentrated on core aspects of e-commerce operations, offering systematic instruction on account management, creating viral short videos for farm products, setting up live-streaming environments, highlighting product selling points, and managing audience engagement and conversion during broadcasts.
Instructors also drew upon real-world case studies from previous trainees' live-streaming experiences. They provided detailed, step-by-step analysis of common challenges and bottlenecks in live commerce, delivering targeted coaching on optimizing sales pitches, improving on-camera presentation, creating immersive product demonstrations, and achieving higher conversion rates. This hands-on guidance was aimed at helping participants address their skill gaps, comprehensively enhance their operational thinking for live-streaming, and boost their practical sales capabilities, thereby achieving a dual upgrade in both professional skills and industry knowledge.
The training session was well-organized with a strong learning atmosphere. Participants engaged actively, learning with specific problems in mind and focusing intently on practical exercises. Attendees noted that the training content was highly relevant and applicable, effectively solving operational difficulties encountered in daily live-streaming sales. It helped bridge skill gaps in e-commerce operations, raised the professional standard for independent live-streaming and sales, and laid a solid foundation for future efforts to expand agricultural product sales channels through e-commerce platforms.

It will institutionalize the cultivation of a new generation of farmer e-commerce hosts, continuously refine its training curriculum, and upgrade its practical training models. The county will also conduct targeted advanced training sessions and specialized practical workshops to steadily build a professional, locally-rooted team of new farmer e-commerce hosts.
