Beijing Suri Robot Co., Ltd., known as Suri, has seen the status of its application for a listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's STAR Market change to "under inquiry."
The company aims to raise 700 million yuan, with CITIC Securities acting as the sponsor.
According to its prospectus, Suri is a high-tech medical device enterprise dedicated to the independent research and development, production, and commercialization of minimally invasive endoscopic surgical robot systems and supporting instruments that possess internationally leading technological advantages, all based on its original core underlying technology.
Its products can be applied across various specialties including urology, gynecology, general surgery, and thoracic surgery for multi-indication treatments, with future plans to expand into head and neck surgery and cardiac surgery, providing patients with less traumatic, more precise, and safer minimally invasive surgical solutions.
The company's first core product, the Thoracoabdominal Endoscopic Single-Port Surgical System (SR-ENS-600), received marketing approval from China's National Medical Products Administration in June 2023 and is currently approved for use in urological, gynecological, general surgical, and thoracic pulmonary endoscopic surgical procedures.
In August 2025, it obtained CE marking in the European Union, permitting its use in urological, gynecological, general surgical, and thoracic endoscopic surgeries for treating benign or malignant diseases within the chest or abdominal cavities, applicable to both adult and pediatric patients meeting the criteria for minimally invasive surgery.
This product is China's first and the world's second approved single-port surgical robot, and it is also the first Chinese surgical robot approved for use across the entire population in the EU.
As of the reporting period's end, it is the world's only CE-certified single-port surgical robot applicable to pediatric surgical treatment.
The company has established subsidiaries in Hong Kong, China, and the Netherlands, assembling a high-quality overseas business team with extensive experience from leading international medical equipment and device companies.
As of the date of the prospectus signing, the Thoracoabdominal Endoscopic Single-Port Surgical System (SR-ENS-600) has obtained registration certificates in regions outside Mainland China, including the European Union, Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia.
Furthermore, the issuer has formally signed long-term strategic cooperation agreements or reached preliminary cooperation intentions with the globally renowned minimally invasive surgical training institution IRCAD and several prestigious European teaching hospitals, accelerating the implementation of its overseas commercialization strategy led by mature Western European markets.
The company has established a comprehensive intellectual property protection system.
As of December 31, 2025, the company had cumulatively applied for 732 patents, with 471 patents granted, including 319 invention patents—148 granted domestically and 171 granted overseas (including the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan, and South Korea).
The company has not been profitable during the reporting period and has accumulated losses, primarily due to its long-term focus on the research and development of minimally invasive endoscopic surgical robots, a business characterized by lengthy R&D cycles and significant capital investment.
Following the establishment of the joint-stock company, the amount of accumulated losses has decreased substantially; however, the company may continue to incur losses for some time, and the accumulated deficit may continue to increase.
Financially, for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, the company achieved operating revenues of approximately 449,000 yuan, 19 million yuan, and 81 million yuan, respectively.
During the same periods, net profits were -191 million yuan, -195 million yuan, and -132 million yuan, respectively.
