Data collected over the past 24 hours shows that on September 15, terminal retail average prices for 11 major baijiu products in China saw six increases and five decreases, with advancers slightly outnumbering decliners and the market continuing its divergent trend.
On the winning side, Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd.'s premium Moutai rose 4 yuan to 2,459 yuan, marking its second straight session of gains, with its retail average now sitting exactly 100 yuan above the i-Moutai official pricing. Wuliangye 1618 edged up 1 yuan to 831 yuan, ticking higher after two days of flat trading. Qinghua Fen 20 surged 6 yuan to 399 yuan, extending its winning streak to three sessions and closing in on the 400-yuan threshold. Gujing Gong 20 climbed 5 yuan to 535 yuan, strengthening for a third consecutive day as its price center continues to move away from recent lows. Qinghua Lang rose 5 yuan to 694 yuan, with a second straight gain sustaining its recovery momentum and reclaiming the 690-yuan level. Shuijing Jiannanchun advanced 1 yuan to 408 yuan, inching up after a period of sideways trading while keeping its price structure stable.
On the losing side, Feitian Moutai slipped 2 yuan to 1,794 yuan, though it remains in its 30-day high range. Wuliangye Puwu Eighth Generation fell 2 yuan to 796 yuan, marking a fifth consecutive decline and hitting a 30-day low. Guojiao 1573 dropped 4 yuan to 877 yuan, putting an end to its two-day winning streak. Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ shed 3 yuan to 608 yuan, with short-term volatility widening. Xijiu Junpin declined 5 yuan to 636 yuan, giving back some of the gains from its prior two-day rally.
The combined terminal retail value of all 11 products ticked higher today, with mixed performance across premium and sub-premium tiers as some previously rebounding labels saw pullbacks. If one bottle of each product were bundled and sold together, today's total would reach 10,037 yuan, up 6 yuan from yesterday and marking a four-day high. The total has risen for two straight sessions, further solidifying the 10,000-yuan psychological level.
Daily data is sourced from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across all major regions of the country, including but not limited to designated distributors, social distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. Raw sampling data reflects actual terminal retail transaction prices over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide an objective, scientific, and fully traceable reference for baijiu market pricing. Following the official i-Moutai platform launch of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on New Year's Day (raised to 1,539 yuan on March 31 and further to 1,639 yuan on July 18), and the January 9 launch of premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle (raised to 2,359 yuan on May 16), the magnetic pull of this new channel on terminal retail averages for both products has become increasingly evident. Daily price releases follow a volume-weighted calculation rule, with measurable prices incorporated into the terminal retail price calculations for these two products.
In other key industry news, Guotai Haitong recently published a research report titled "In a Weak Recovery and Low-Interest-Rate Environment, Focus on High-Dividend Assets in the Food & Beverage Sector," arguing that under such conditions, investors should prioritize quality leaders with stable cash flows, low valuations, and continuously improving dividend payout capabilities, using high dividends and payout certainty as the main investment theme while also watching for fundamentals inflection points. In terms of investment recommendations, the baijiu sector favors Yingjia Gongjiu, Gujing Gongjiu, and Jinshiyuan for their clear dividend commitments, solid cash buffers, and early inventory normalization, as well as Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. for its price-recovery elasticity.
