Labor Shortage Sparks 80,000 Recruitment Openings Across Multiple Industries

Employment activities are surging as a special recruitment drive, the 100-Day Ten Million Recruitment Initiative, launched four online job fairs from August 10th to 16th. Over 7,000 employers are offering 80,000 job openings, spanning sectors such as new energy and cross-border e-commerce. Job seekers can access these opportunities through designated platforms.

According to China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the initiative from August 10th to 16th features four specialized online recruitment events: the electric power and new energy sector, cross-border e-commerce, transportation, and the internet industry. More than 7,700 employers are providing a total of 80,000 recruitment slots.

In the electric power and new energy industry, 243 companies are participating, offering positions including battery research and development engineer, lithium battery quality engineer, technical support engineer, and materials engineer, with a recruitment demand exceeding 15,000 people.

The cross-border e-commerce sector involves 3,000 employers providing 30,000 job openings, covering roles such as foreign trade business staff, cross-border e-commerce operations specialist, sales representative, and business supervisor.

For the transportation industry, 162 employers are offering positions like customs clearance supervisor, hardware engineer, logistics safety officer, and automation system designer, with a recruitment demand of over 3,000 people.

The internet industry features 4,346 participating companies, providing roles such as AI strategy product manager, multimodal large model algorithm expert, embedded development engineer, and delivery architect, with a recruitment demand of 32,000 people. Employers and job seekers can visit the China Public Recruitment Network, the China National Talent Network, or the main page of the special action on the Employment Online platform to participate in these job fairs.
