Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd. (ENLT) saw its shares surge 10.71% during intraday trading on Tuesday, driven by a strong second-quarter earnings report that significantly exceeded analyst expectations and an optimistic increase in the company's full-year guidance.
The company reported quarterly earnings of $0.20 per share, a dramatic increase from $0.01 per share in the same period last year. This performance easily beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.11 per share. Total revenues and income for the quarter came in at $209.7 million, marking a 55% increase compared to the prior year, though revenue from electricity sales of $165.99 million fell short of some estimates. The robust bottom-line growth was fueled by strong operational performance across its project portfolio, higher electricity prices in Europe, and contributions from new U.S. projects.
Adding to the positive momentum, Enlight raised its full-year 2026 guidance. The company now expects revenues and income to be between $790 million and $820 million, up from a previous range of $755 million to $785 million. Adjusted EBITDA guidance was also lifted to a range of $565 million to $585 million, compared to the prior $545 million to $565 million, reflecting strong first-half results and a favorable operating environment.
